About the Education Center

Cornerstone believes in academic achievement and looks to give support to help youth attain their educational goals. Teachers are available every night after school during the weekdays to assist with homework help. We also maintain open communication with school personnel for many of the youth we serve, which helps our staff know more quickly if a student is in danger of failing or needs special assistance. This time with youth encourages increased communication about the importance of education, strengthens their commitment to homework, and increases their accountability to their teachers, education, and involvement in school.

Future goals for the education center involve computer classes and job skills training session using KeyTrain software.
