About the Tech Team

The Cornerstone Youth Center Tech Team is a constantly-maturing group of technically profficient volunteers and students who use their talents and skills to better our youth's ability to access information and digital resources.

In recent time, the Tech Team has accelerated and grown into a rapidly developing group that is dedicated to helping others learn and grow in their knowledge and understanding of computers and technology. As a group, the Tech Team has established an objective of providing students and youth with the opportunity to expand their understanding of modern technologies and how to apply them to real-life situations.

Currently, the Tech Team is concentrating on a number of projects to improve the reliablity and usability of the computers at the youth center. By allowing volunteers and youth to concentrate their efforts in their areas of skill, the Tech Team is continually improving the accessibility and usability of the center's technological resources.

Some of our goals include:

• Obtaining a grant for acquiring new and more reliable technology (e.g. new computers, printers, etc.).
• Improving and upgrading the local network.
